Mid-Missouri Bank Willard | Focal Point Fridays
It's Friday... which means it's time to share the first Focal Point Friday post!
I sat down with Bank Supervisor Aly Cesar at Mid-Missouri Bank for the first installment of Focal Point Fridays. We talked all things Willard, service, her all-star staff, and the importance of bagging bread separately. You’ll have to stick around to hear more about that last bit.
Aly shared with me that she has been with the bank for just over two years, and that they have a team of five personal bankers and two lenders who are always ready to greet you by name and with a smile. In fact, anytime that I have had to physically go inside the lobby (with three under three in tow, of course) I have always been helped quickly, efficiently, and then loaded up with suckers for the kids.
Cesar explained that it’s her crew that makes coming to work everyday worth it, but that it’s serving our neighbors that’s most rewarding. Cesar, a long-time Willard resident and graduate, says that one of her favorite things about working in Willard is seeing so many familiar faces day to day, the friendliness associated with small-town life, and being able to help customers with anything they need.
If you visit Mid-Missouri Bank and get a chance to speak with Cesar, you might recognize her from her eight years of service at Murfins (now known as Apple Market) where she did a little bit of everything working as the Office Assistant. This, of course, sparked a whole conversation about how everyone should work as a bagger at one point in their life (I also worked in grocery for the better part of five years – starting as a bagger and ending in HR)
We laughed – of course not everyone needs to be bagger, but it’s obvious her love for people and desire to serve customers fully and completely has spilled into her philosophy of leadership at the bank, and into the daily workings of her team.
If you’re looking for a bank with a hometown feel, go give Mid-Mo a call!
Stick around for next week when we highlight the folks over at Willard Physical Therapy Center, LLC.
